On a crazy halloween night in 2001, Mike was dressed as the devil and in came Roxy wearing a nun's costume. Soon after they met, mutual friends started wondering "why didn't I hook you guys up?" When Roxy's show ended she headed back to Vancouver with Mike in May of 2002. Mike finally asked for Roxy's hand on December 20th 2004 on the rooftop of their Vancouver apartment building. They now reside together in Edmonton with their cat Carnie.
