May 19, 2006 The countdown is on!!! Twenty more days until we leave and 23 until the big day! I can't believe that the time has gone by so fast. We had our 5 year anniversary in April. Now that is crazy! The wedding plans are also done. I just have to get the cake and flowers for the reception here in Dallas, and I get my dress back from the alterations place next Thursday...let's hope everything went as planned. I found out, finally, from the resort that our wedding certificate will be ready in time and all of our documents were accepted...woohoo. One less thing to worry about! Jamaica here we come!!

We have decided to have our reception at Monica's Aca Y Alla at 2914 Main Street in Dallas. It will be held on July 1, 2006 at 6:30 p.m. Dinner and cake will be provided. Alcohol will be available for purchase. We are currently registered at Honeymoonwises.com for gifts to make our honeymoon special. For those who prefer a more traditional registry, we are also registered at Target.

You are going to want to stay the close to Ocho Rios because we all will be using taxis to get around. These are the closest all-inclusive hotels: Sunset Jamaica Grande(reasonably priced, kid friendly, does not include airport transfers), Beaches Boscobel Resort (expensive, but nice, kid friendly, includes transfers), RIU Ocho Rios (reasonable, kid friendly, a little nicer than Sunset, no transfers), Couples Ocho Rios (very nice, a little expensive, adults only, includes transfers), Sandals Grande Ocho Rios Beach & Villa Resort (ultra all inclusive, pricey, adults only, includes transfers), Sandals Ocho Rios Resort & Golf Club (ultra all inclusive, adults only, includes transfers). The regular hotels near by are: Rooms on the Beach, Fisherman's Point, and Crane Ridge Resort.

We understand the not everyone will be able to afford to come to our dream wedding. We will be having a reception for all our family and friends here in DFW at Monica's Aca Y Alla on July 1, 2006. We look forward to seeing you all there!
