Ross and I both went to school at Oshkosh West High School and graduated one year apart. While we knew OF each other in high school, we didn't really know too much about one another until a few years after we both graduated and discovered we had mutual friends. We became good friends after awhile and decided to keep in touch before his deployment in November 2004. Ross & I managed to talk a few times before he was sent overseas to Afghanistan, and after nearly 4 months of worrying & leaving voicemails for him, I was called by someone saying Ross no longer had that phone number. In July, after not hearing from Ross for a long time, he called me & told me he was coming to town in a couple weeks; I offered my place for him to stay.
