From Shawny's point of view:
We met almost 3 years ago on a Martin Luther King Weekend Ski Trip. During the ski trip, I noticed Jarrett because I believed he worked at my job. I approached him and asked did he work at my job and in what department. He proceeded to say yes he worked at my job, but seemed uninterested in my conversation. I quickly ended the conversation and didn't speak to him for the rest of the weekend trip. On the following Tuesday I happened to see him in the cafeteria getting breakfast and I asked him how he thought the trip was and mentioned that he could skate pretty good. We chatted for a few minutes and we went our seperate ways. If memory serves correct he sent me an email and we talked about going skating. We had a skating non-date two weeks later. We went out one or two more times before Jarrett asked me on a real date. After several months of dating and uncertainty we decided our destiny was to be together. We have been inseperable since.
We believe God had a plan for us to meet at exactly the right time in each other lives. We worked together for 2 years before we actually spoke to one another. Turns out we both had a lot going on in the prior two years that probably molded us to be better mates for each other.
