We were lucky enough to meet when I auditioned to be vocalist and rhythm guitarist for the band that John (such a very talented lead guitarist!) was forming. We were both going through difficult changes in our lives, and we quickly became each other's friend and confidant. Soon we realized that we were meant to be more than friends, and we've been together ever since. (Aren't you glad I resisted the urge to say "we've been making beautiful music together ever since!")

We will be getting married at the beautiful resort Couples Ocho Rios in Jamaica on July 27th. We'll include more details later, but we'll be getting married in a ceremony on either the beach or in a private gazebo. We will be planning a reception once we return to North Carolina, catered by our favorite place, La Shish. (John eats lunch there every day and we eat there on the weekends too! He's truly addicted!) They serve incredibly fresh Greek and Lebanese food and we know you will all love it as much as we do! We look forward to the opportunity for our families to meet. (Try to keep the embarrassing stories about us to a minimum!) We will post more details later.

We know that some of our family members were hoping to join us on our wedding day, and we greatly appreciate everyone's support, love and acceptance of our decision to elope. We love you all!
