Misty and I met in September of 2000. I was a overly confident DJ and she was a carefree club goer. She was always dancing and having a good time and this caught my attention. Even though most of the time it was with another guy. So I took the high road and befriended her best friend to gain some information about this girl.(smart I know) And to my delightful surprise she was single. So I eventually ended up talking more to Misty than her friend. About a month later I decided that it was now or never so I asked her to dance. Remember I was the DJ so it wasn't often this happened. So I played the song Purple Rain By Prince and put on my best game face and went for it. Of course she accepted. Our first official date was on NOV. 16 2000. We went to a place great for 1st dates, Jack Astor's

We have dated for about 4.5 years. It took 4 of them to get up the nerve to ask Misty to marry me. Patience must be her strong point because I pushed it. But on November 16, 2004 I asked Misty Star Burchett to become my wife. Even though at first I thought she or I one was going to pass out before the answer was revealed she did say Yes! So on June 3, 2005 we will become one in the eyes of God. The wedding will take place in Negril Jamaica at Couples Swept Away Resort.

Misty and I in the past year have become very active in our church and have acquired many new friends that have led us to where we are now in our lives. She is not only my future wife but she's also my best friend. I think that I can speak for the both of us when I say we are thrilled to be starting a new chapter of our lives as husband and wife. As Misty and I continue our spiritual journey together we would like to say thank you for all the wonderful gifts and most of all for your friendship. May God Bless each one of you and thanks again.
