Stuart and I met in December of 2000 at the Shane Mcgowan concert at the 9:30 club in Washington, DC. I was looking for my roomate but could not find her and as I was standing on my tippy toes searching, Stuart started talking to me. We talked until 5am and discovered many things in common including an upcoming flight from Heathrow back to DC. Early in our conversation, I asked him where he was from. He said London. I said "Are you going home for the holidays?" He told me the dates and I asked "what airline" and he said "Virgin Atlantic" and I said "Guess what? We are on the same flight home!" I had booked a trip to London for New Years to visit some friends, but I also spent a few days with Stu. It turned out that the seat next to me was empty so we got to sit next to each other!

Stuart and I got engaged in 2003 and have been planing our wedding for almost a year and a half. We decided on Baltimore becuse we wanted our ceremony to be by the water and wanted a location that would be fun and exciting for out out of town guests. Baltimore has always been one of my favorite places. Stuart and I have gone there a number of times. Also, my parents grew up there so as a child we spent many weekends at Grandma's house, visiting the harbor and going to museums.
Hope you enjoy it as much as we do!

The closest airport is BWI (Baltimore Washington International). It is a 20 minute minute ride into the city and shuttle vans are available at the airport. There are many hotels in downtown Baltimore but be sure to choose a hotel in Baltimore's Inner Harbor to be close to the wedding location. Please let us know if you have any questions. Thank you for coming from across the pond and across the states to be here for our wedding!

We look forward to seeing you on June 12th and cant wait to celebrate with you!
