A lot of you already know our love story. We met at a football watch party, she was beautiful, glowing and full of energy. We shared a Bud, a cigar, and found we also shared a passion for golf and football. A match made in heaven, right? A guy with a gal who loves footbal, golf, cigars and a good brewski. What more could a guy ask for? Well, ok there's that, but that just goes without saying. I fell head over heels in love, proposed to her in the Atlantic Sea Grill, she laughed, hysterically, I finally got her to focus and she said yes. I sang our favorite Josh Groban song to her, "You Raise Me Up." She cried, I cried, the rest, as they say is history. She's my girl and I'm her guy. Gary swept me off my feet with his beautiful eyes, wonderful spirit and joyful laugh, soon i knew he was it!
We will be married at 7:00 p.m. at Tina's mom and dad's house in Verdigris, Ok. It is located between Catoosa and Claremore on Hwy. 66. The attire is very casual. It is an island theme if you'd like to dress for the islands that's fine. And as you might have seen, the other theme to our wedding is in our wedding phrase, if you will, Live, Laugh, Love. We hope that everyone is blessed as we are, to be able to Live Well, Laugh Often, and Love Much!!! / As Gary just said .... casual and cool.. please be comfortable. We are very blessed to share this ceremony with our children.... Gary's sons, Adam & Jared and my boys, Grant and Taylor will be standing up with us.... what a great way to bring a family together!
The reception will be held in the yard. We are planning on having a live band, so come ready to have fun, relax, and dance your legs off. (I'm sure there will be a table available for some of us to dance on!!!) The party will go as long as there are people standing, somewhat! There will be some food and drink, but if you have a favorite summer fare or an adult beverage preference then BYOB!
If you fly in, you will want to come to the Tulsa International Airport and head east on I-244 from airport. If you're driving come east of Tulsa to Route 66 (US66 East) to Claremore through Catoosa. You all can stay at the Cherokee Casino and Resort in Catoosa. You can gamble, play golf, eat, drink, etc. There is also a nice Microtel Inn a few miles from the house. To get to the house you will travel north by northeast on Route 66 approximately 8 miles to Gordon Rd. There you will go East on Gordon Rd. approximately 0.65 miles to a Y go to the end of the white fence and turn left and follow signs.
Tina & I are overjoyed that you've decided to share this special day with us. We appreciate and love our friends and family. Thank you to all of you who have shared and had a part in our love story. You know who you are. We couldn't be more excited!!! We hope that if anyone is unable to make the ceremony.... they feel free to drop in at anytime during the evening.... we look so forward to having time with family and friends to celebrate this blessing.
