Brian & Leah's story begins in 2003 at a Sprint Commissions meeting…oh, good times… Over the course of 3 years, Brian and Leah worked together in a limited capacity but gained each other’s trust and respect. This was the foundation that would later be built upon, much to their surprise. In 2006 Brian and Leah’s working relationship blossomed into a wonderful friendship. In October of 2006, Brian worked up the nerve to ask Leah out & she said yes. A night of dinner and a movie….was to be their first date. However, Brian got caught up at work (imagine that) and was 30 minutes late without calling. Being the confident, “don’t wait for any man” that was Leah, she left, determined to have a nice time without him. Imagine his shock when he arrived to pick Leah up and the sitter exclaimed that Leah had left! Mr. Smooth Talker begged Leah to come back to the house & let him take her out. After many apologies, Leah agreed…only making sure that he understood that this would be their “2nd” date. To this day, Brian and Leah laugh about how he stood her up for their first date and he managed to smooth it over during the 2nd. :-) A year and some months later, Brian recreated their “2nd” date by taking Leah to Bricktown for dinner at Abuelo’s, a walk around the canal, and a movie. However, this time, he enhanced the evening with a gorgeous ring, a heart-catching proposal, and a promise of forever. Today, they are making their way towards the future.

Initially, Brian and Leah wanted to alleviate the stress of weddings and run off to Jamaica for a destination wedding. However, it was extremely important to them that their wonderful 6 kids, family, and friends were able to share in the joyous occasion. So, they have opted for an intimate, uncomplicated (yeah, right!) ceremony and reception here in OKC on 08.08.08…and then will renew their vows by the waves & white sands of Jamaica on 08.13.08. It was important for Brian and Leah to keep the ceremony uniquely theirs, so they are throwing tradition out the door. The ceremony will take place in North OKC at a dance studio called "Standing Room Only" and will keep with the sea-side theme. Leah will be wearing a simple, elegant gown and Brian will be in a tuxedo T-shirt (because it says formal but I like to party)…….just kidding. Dress will be “casual elegance”.

The reception will immediately follow at the same location… with light snacks, fabulous drinks, and lots of dancing.

Brian & Leah will leave for their Honeymoon on 08.10.08 and will return 08.16.08. The will spend the wonderful 6 nights in Jamaica, soaking in the sun & relaxing to sound of the waves.
