Chantal and Michael met each other on a dating website on the internet in February 2006. For their very first date it was Chantal's idea to go to a Bingo Hall. Once this was suggested Michael knew that there was something different about Chantal, and thought that was a good sign. After spending an evening together at the Bingo Hall, and giving a hug goodbye at the end of the night, Chantal and Michael would continue to date each other, move in together, have a child together, and the rest is history. Although neither of them won at Bingo that evening they both won the hearts of each other.

Chantal and Michael will be married on Jamaica’s famous Seven Mile Beach in Negril on April 24th at 4pm local time. It has always been a dream of both to be married on a beach. This will be Chantal’s first trip to the Caribbean; and although Michael has been to Jamaica twice before, it will be his first time on this side of the island. Chantal and Michael have chosen to have an intimate wedding, just the two of them, with no guests. They felt it would be more romantic that way.

Chantal and Michael have not decided on a reception date as of yet, or even if they will have one. Perhaps a small get together at their parents house in Kelowna during the summer, or go out to a restaurant for dinner.

We are flying away to Jamaica to get married on the beach. We chose to do this because we really needed to spend some time alone together. Since we have been together we have not spent a single night or day without our Four kids. We work opposite schedules of each other, are stressed, and need a get-a-way BAD!
