There once was a little girl named Lauren that was asked to go to the movies by a skinny boy named Jordon. Little Lauren's daddy, named Mark, said "not just no, but hell no, not until I meet skinny Jordon's parents." Jordon's mommy, named Valerie, talked to the daddy, named Mark, on the phone and said she would take Lauren and Jordon to the movies. Jordon and his mommy, named Valerie, picked up Lauren to go to the movie. When they returned from the movie, Lauren introduced Jordon's mommy, named Valerie, as "single" mommy. Sitting and talking for hours on end that evening, the daddy, named Mark, and the mommy, named Valerie, quickly realized that the children, named Jordon and Lauren could not "be a couple." That day marked the beginning of Mark and Valerie's relationship.

We look forward to seeing you on the day of the wedding 08/08/08 at 8pm. As the sun goes down over Lake Ray Hubbard, we will exchange our vows in the outdoor pavillion at The Hella Shrine Temple located at 2121 Rowlett Road, Garland, Texas 75043.
Updated 08/06/2008 - Due to the extreme heat. We have moved the wedding indoors to the Terrace Room. Please dress summer casual.

Immediately following the ceremony, please join us for the reception inside the Hella Temple's Terrace room. We will have a fajita dinner buffet, enjoy drinks and dance the remainder of the night away to Code 3 Karaoke.
Your presence is requested, not your presents. If you feel as though you need to purchase a wedding gift, please purchase a gift from this honeymoon website. Any purchase will help us afford more Jamaican adventures. Thank you...and see you at the wedding. :)

Mark and Valerie will travel to Couples Swept Away in Negril, Jamaica the day after the ceremony. Please visit the resort's website to see all the interesting things we will be seeing and doing. We plan to scuba dive, snorkel the Blue Lagoon, horseback ride, explore the island, jump off cliffs, and sit on the beautiful Seven Mile Beach (with a drink in each hand) :)

Thank you for visiting our wedding website. We are very excited about the wedding and honeymoon.
We look forward to seeing you at the wedding. In case you did not hear the engagement story, here it is. We have been together now since the day we met, April 10, 2004. Together we have enjoyed hiking the Appalachian Trail, fishing Lake Fork and Lake Amistad, skiing the slopes of New Mexico and Colorado, scuba diving in Cozumel and traveling to places such as Destin, Florida, New Orleans and Las Vegas.
On May 4, 2007, Mark surprised Valerie in front of 900 people in the South Garland High School Auditorium. Secretly laid plans were masterfully calculated, including, a full page ad in the Showboater program, choir director and other people carefully assisting. Mark came out on stage and asked Valerie to come up and he proposed.
