A little over 2 years ago our paths crossed for the first time. He's a Republican and I'm a Democrat - what could possibly go wrong! He has opened my eyes up to the world of NASCAR & spot fishing and I have shown him that it is okay to try new things, whether it's adventurous food or running a 1/2 marathon. Our southern roots enable us to have common goals when it comes to our family and our future. He is from N. Carolina and I am from Louisiana! THE PROPOSAL: Mr Smooth arranged to have rose petals on the bed saying 'WILL YOU MARRY ME' on a recent trip to New Orleans (see pic)..It was an extra special day - it was his birthday. He got down on one knee (the good one) and the rest is history!

We have decided to officially start our life together... The ceremony will be just the two of us, we are thankful to know that we have the love and support of our family & friends. We have picked Couples Beach Resort in Negril, Jamaica as our backdrop and subsequently our honeymoon spot - 2 for 1! The wedding will be at 11am with a small reception following, then it's back to hanging out on the beach and relaxing.
